Head coach Tim Warren took the Clatskanie Tigers to the Astoria Football Jamboree on Aug. 30 for some preseason action. Clatskanie was one of six teams at the event, along with Tillamook, Astoria, Estacada, St. Helens and Seaside.

The Tigers closed out this past season with a 7-4 overall record, 3-2 in league. Oregon School Activities Association ranked the team No. 8 in the 3A special district division. Clatskanie faces Heppner at 7 p.m. on Sep. 6 in a road game to kick off the new season.

The Tigers trounced the 2A-division Mustangs 46-0 in their 2018 season opener.
