New head coach Zach Davis has his wrestlers competing hard during the first week of competition. Tigers started the season at the Knappa "Mix & Match" meet Wednesday Nov. 28.

All the Tiger wrestlers left the meet with wins. Trent Bernsten Jr. (170) and Alvin Roberts Jr. (220) went undefeated 2-0. Lexus Holmes (126), Jon Morris (195) and Sterling Bruce (285) each went 1-1 for the night.

Saturday, the team traveled to Mark Morris High School in Longview, Washington for the Three Rivers Classic tournament. The competition was tough. Tiger wrestlers battled against Washington and Oregon schools.

Tiger tournament notables were Bernsten with a 1st place, earning his first tournament championship, Roberts with a 4th place, and Holmes placed 3rd in the girls bracket. The Tigers travel next to Warrenton High School for the "Warrenton Invitational" tournament, wrestling starts at 10a.m. this Saturday, Dec. 8.
