The North Coast Big Band from Astoria performed at the annual Clatskanie Arts Commission Big Band in the Park concert on Labor Day.

The Clatskanie Arts Commission is kicking off its 29th Performing Arts Series with its annual Big Band in the Park on Labor Day, Sept. 4, 2017, in the Clatskanie City Park.

The North Coast Big Band from Astoria will hold this free concert, sponsored by Larry and Donna Garlock, from 2-4 p.m. with music. Hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, ice cream and beverages will be available for purchase as a fundraiser for the Clatskanie Arts Commission beginning at 1 p.m.

In celebration of CAC’s anniversary free cake will be served at intermission.

Please bring your own chairs. Bleacher seating will also be available. Owners of older vehicles are encouraged to bring them for display on the grass behind the bleachers.

Tickets for this year’s performances will be available at the park. A special promotional price will be available for 8 tickets or more.
