Up to 450 students are expected to graduate in the Oregon Connections Academy Class of 2019.

Even though these students are receiving their diplomas from the state’s leading online public charter school, each year there is an in-person commencement ceremony held to mark the occasion.

A large number of graduates are pursuing higher education (52%), many are entering the workforce after high school (29%), some are choosing vocational training (8%), or going into the military (4 %), and the rest have other plans such as volunteer missions (7%).

Oregon Connections Academy’s highly-qualified teachers, personalized instruction, award-winning curriculum, and wide variety of community experiences creates a supportive and successful academic environment for high school students.

In addition to Advanced Placement courses, dual transferable college credits offered for certain classes, high school students can also take advantage of Ascend, Oregon Connections Academy’s Career and Technical Education program. Ascend includes career pathways in business and management, medical sciences, and computer sciences.

The school is authorized by the Santiam Canyon School District. Enrollment is now underway for the 2019-2020 school year and to find out more call 800-382-6010 or visit
