Mona passed away from complications due to pneumonia on June 30, 2019.
Mona retired from the Social Security Administration in 1999 after having worked there for 25 years. Mona was very proud of her family and would light up anytime she had news about one of them, whether it was a small achievement or a major milestone. She enjoyed bowling, knitting and crocheting, hunting, horseback riding, and visiting the local casinos.
She leaves behind a daughter Christine K. Frank, of Ridgefield, Washington; son James A. “Allen” Frank, of Battle Ground, Washington; sister Charlene Johnson of Clatskanie, Oregon; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Jack E. Haulk, her partner of more than 30 years; parents Walt and Bess Griffith; and her brother Clarence E. “Clancy” Griffith.
A celebration of life will be held from noon - 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Longview Eagles, 1526 12th Ave., Longview, Washington. The event will be a potluck, so please bring your favorite dish.
