In loving memory of Dennis McLeod Jr. Dennis passed away of natural causes in his sleep on Nov. 19, 2019 in Vallejo, California. He was 47 years old.
Dennis worked many jobs with his father and brother at Dennis McLeod and Sons Backhoe Service in Vallejo, California. He was a rep for Proplayer and flew all over the states, worked demolition drilling and blasting, and many other jobs.
Dennis grew up in Mist, Oregon and attended school in Mist. He moved to Vallejo and lived there for eight years before moving back to Rainier, Oregon. He graduated from Rainier High School.
He made many friends everywhere he traveled. All said, he was a force to be reckoned with. He was known for his heavy hands and hard work. He was an amazing father, uncle, brother and son. He had a powerful personality and impacted everyone he met. A blessed one. They say he was truly loved by many!
He loved riding his Harley, playing his guitar and music. He would say “music always makes everything better.” His family and his children were the joys in his life.
Dennis will be missed by many people from the West Coast to the East Coast, from Whitefish to Billings, Montana and beyond.
His favorite memories of his childhood were riding with his Uncle Vince on his motorcycle and the many adventures on the Nehalem River in Mist with his brother Daren and the Cutright boys. He loved Grandma Grau’s fried chicken and Grandma Willie’s biscuits and gravy. Last but not least, the birth of his beloved daughters. Dennis will be truly missed by all.
