Over the past few weeks, a group of volunteers have set up booths in Rainier, St. Helens and Clatskanie to obtain voter signatures to recall Gov. Kate Brown. Two fishermen showed up on Tuesday afternoon, August 13, after an all-day fishing trip wanting to make sure they made it in time to sign. According to Diane Pohl, of Clatskanie, they are only one group of several gathering signatures in every county throughout the state. The ultimate goal is to obtain over 280,000 valid signatures from across the state by October 14.
