Big Band in the Park

The Clatskanie Arts Commission celebrated its 30th Performing Arts Series with the annual Big Band in the Park Concert on Labor Day, held Sept. 3 in Clatskanie City Park.

This free concert, sponsored by Larry and Donna Garlock, will be held in the Clatskanie City Park from 2-4 p.m. with music by the North Coast Big Band from Astoria. Hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, ice cream and beverages will be available for purchase as a fundraiser for the Clatskanie Arts Commission beginning at 1 p.m.

In celebration of CAC’s 31st anniversary, free cake will be served at intermission.

Please bring your own chairs. Bleacher seating will also be available. Owners of vintage vehicles are encouraged to bring them for display on the grass behind the bleachers.

Brochures and tickets for this year’s Performing Arts Series will be available at the park.
